As an Azure Support Engineer, you will be a critical escalation point within the support team.

As Azure Engineer, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Taking ownership of complex Microsoft Azure incidents, changes, service requests, and problem records, driving them to resolution
  • Serving as a technical escalation point within the team
  • Achieving and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Support Team Manager
  • Collaborating with DevOps and Service Delivery teams to provide exceptional Client support
  • Partnering with the Cloud Operations team to handle high-priority requests during out-of-hours coverage via an On-Call rota

We'd love you to have

  • Experience working on Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in an enterprise environment 
  • Experience managing enterprise database systems, including SQL and MySQL
  • A solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
  • A demonstrated passion for continuous learning, with a drive to stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
