The Cloud/Consumption Billing team is growing in response to a continued transition towards consumption models of cloud-based software and services where customer billing is performed monthly, based on consumption data. The Cloud Billing team sit within the wider finance team and are responsible for generating the correct invoices to customers at the right time for our fast-growing Cloud/Consumption-based business. As the vendors that we resell adopt this method of transacting, the Billing team are integral to ensuring customer set up is right and vendor data analysis is robust so we can continue to provide our customers with the highest levels of service and ensure our financial reporting and analysis is accurate.

Be part of a team that enables business growth

The successful candidate will work alongside the existing team of analysts and be primarily responsible for the billing of our Managed Services and Adobe bill runs but also support the team with other areas too, including Microsoft. You will handle large volumes of data and will need to understand the different products and programs offered by the vendors. Ensuring bill runs are accurate involves analytical reviews of the data and investigating any anomalies with other areas of the business. You will become the go to person to help our sales force and our customers understand their bills in this area and the impact of any changes they have made to the programs they run. 

As a Cloud & Consumption Billing Analyst, you'll be responsible for: 

• Extracting data from our suppliers to support our systems team prepare for the monthly bill cycles
• Preparing and executing Managed Services and Adobe bill runs and assisting with Microsoft runs
• Supporting account managers with customer queries and at times joining customer calls
• Providing our admin support and other finance teams with additional advice and data
• Liaising with operational and sales teams across the company
• Working closely with IT and data teams to assist with their automation plans
• Assisting with projects to increase automation of billing

We'd love you to have

• Comfortable with large volumes of numbers and data analysis
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
• An eye for detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Ownership of your bill runs
• Experience of Oracle NetSuite or similar systems is beneficial, but not essential
• A desire to work in a fast growing, technology business with plenty of change and opportunity
