Success. The Softcat Way.

Softcat is a leading UK technology solutions business and a place where talented people can thrive. We believe that success comes from empowering people, embracing innovation and creating a culture where everyone can make an impact.

Your Role

As our Business Resilience Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping and embedding resilience across the organisation. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and technology teams, you'll help strengthen our ability to manage disruption, protect critical services and continuously improve our recovery capabilities.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and improving Softcat's Business Resilience capability.
  • Defining and evolving our Minimum Viable Company (MVC).
  • Maintaining and enhancing our BCMS and ISO 22301 certification.
  • Developing and testing crisis management and recovery plans.
  • Embedding resilience into business change and strategic initiatives.
  • Driving resilience improvements across people, process, operations, technology and suppliers.

We'd love you to have:

  • Experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Crisis Management.
  • Strong experience with BIAs, recovery planning and resilience frameworks.
  • Experience developing and improving a BCMS, ideally aligned to ISO 22301.
  • The ability to influence, engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading resilience programmes and managing multiple priorities.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.

We also acknowledge that the confidence gap and imposter syndrome are a real thing and can get in the way of us meeting fantastic talent, so please don't hesitate to apply – we would love to hear from you!

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
  • Working flexible hours - flexing the times you start and finish during the day
  • Flexibility around school pick up and drop offs

Working with us

Wherever you work, we want you to experience the freedom and autonomy to realise your potential. You will feel supported by a team that celebrates individuality, encourages different perspectives, and embraces every background.
