Driving customer value through Cisco expertise and collaboration

 As a Cisco Networking Product and Services Executive, you will be aligned to Cisco, building strong knowledge of their products and services and confidently articulating their value to both internal teams and customers. You will stay up to date with technology developments, maintain relevant sales and technical certifications, and collaborate across the business to support customer needs and successfully deliver our vendor propositions.

As a Cisco Networking Product and Services Executive, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Staying up to date with networking technologies and trends, maintaining relevant certifications and confidently articulating the value of vendor solutions to internal teams and customers.
  • Building strong relationships across Softcat and with vendors, supporting effective collaboration through regular office presence, meetings and training sessions.
  • Working closely with vendors and internal teams to identify customer opportunities and areas of growth, informed by market insights and customer needs.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their challenges and provide tailored, value-led solutions.
  • Supporting sales teams proactively by demonstrating vendor capabilities and ensuring they are well equipped to position products effectively.
  • Collaborating with Commercial Enablement to create and curate content that supports vendor technologies and sales success.

 

We'd love you to have

  • An interest in, or knowledge of, Cisco technology and a willingness to continue learning.
  • The ability to build positive, effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • The motivation to achieve and maintain relevant sales and technical certifications, with support and development provided.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, enjoying working with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and pay attention to detail.
