Have you collaborated cross-functionally on complex IT business systems' related projects involving data, working with diverse sets of stakeholders?

We are looking for a Data Engineering Team Leader to oversee a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts who are responsible for supporting the day-to-day data operations.

As Data Engineering Team Lead, you'll be responsible for: 

• Contributing to the personal and professional development of your team members
• Attending and contributing with other management teams to the quarterly IT development plan to prioritise and align workload and resources against the Softcat business strategy / roadmap
• Building and maintaining data pipelines from a design specification into the enterprise data warehouse and other data platforms
• Promoting, governing, and assessing the use of agreed standards and tools and are utilised to achieve well-engineered outcomes
• Participating in reviews of work to ensure developments are standardised, reliable, and maintainable

We'd love you to have 

• Experience managing a team of technical resources
• Proven track record of delivering results in a management role
• Proven experience in SQL Server database development and data warehouse architecture
• Proven experience in designing, coding, testing, and correcting complex SQL models and scripts
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques
