The primary purpose of this role is to respond very promptly and professionally to email and support queries sent to the eBusiness team.

Typically, this involves answering queries, making configuration changes to permissions, restrictions and settings for users, helping and advising both internal and external customers on eBusiness matters and generally supporting all users of the platform. 

 

The role includes supporting eBusiness Specialists with occasional, online customer video calls and basic internal sales staff training. You will receive support in the role from the eBusiness Specialist to whom you report as well as your other eBusiness Team colleagues. You will be welcomed into a very successful, established team whose members are always positive, respectful and supportive of each other. 

 

As eBusiness Executive you'll be responsible for: 

  • Answering email / support queries, troubleshooting issues, and providing resolutions and solutions
  • Amending settings and permissions for Softcat and customer users on the eBusiness platform
  • Supporting internal and external customers with their use of Softcat's eBusiness platform
  • Support the delivery of basic internal training and awareness sessions with Softcat staff
  • Identifying issues that need escalation and/or diversion to other team members or other departments and ensuring a response is given
