As the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Lead at Softcat, you will be a senior member of our Information Security team responsible for our IAM program. Collaborating with other departments across Softcat you will provide expertise, direction and guidance, playing a crucial role in maturing our IAM capabilities. Through your efforts you will help us improve both customer and employee experience while managing identity-based risks.  

As Identity & Access Mananger Lead, you'll be responsible for:

• Act as a subject-matter-expert on all IAM disciplines including both Employee & Customer IAM Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Machine Identity Management
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather IAM related requirements
• Assess current IAM capabilities and their suitability against our strategy and stakeholder requirements
• Plan and prioritise IAM improvement work in line with business initiatives and our risk appetite
• Work with our Governance teams to set policies and standards, and define assurance processes
• Execute IAM improvement work and technology enhancements in partnership with our Infrastructure & DevOps teams
  

We'd love you to have:

• Proven knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, Federated Identities & other identity technologies
• Proven knowledge of risk based access controls and protocols such as OpenID, SAML, OAuth and SCIM
• Deep understanding of application integrations and API-based access control
• Deep understanding of risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity and IT Security architecture
