Partner with the best

You would be expected to proactively work with the sales team to ensure Softcat is in the best position to develop, uncover and close new opportunities – and respond effectively to new tenders & requirements. We welcome a vocal applicant who is looking to aid our strategic discussions on the future direction of ITXM services. You should have experience within IT Asset Management,  IT Service Management or related disciplines, and be able to articulate the value of ITXM in driving efficiency, compliance, and improved digital employee experience.
Experience working with Public Sector clients and frameworks is highly desirable, as this role often involves navigating sector-specific requirements and supporting customers to achieve maximum value from their IT investments.

 

As an ITXM Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and qualifying ITAM and ITSM opportunities  opportunities within new customers, driving new business and maximising GP as well as developing existing accounts
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the customer and recommending ITXM solutions to meet business goals and address technical challenges
  • Working in partnership with account managers to identify and maximise the potential of existing accounts and prospects
  • Building and strengthening relationships with Public Sector customers, ensuring compliance with frameworks and alignment to their unique needs
  • Developing contacts within the account where appropriate
  • Understanding and applying a defined sales process to maximise sales efficiency
  • Helping to build and develop our strategy for ITXM

 

We'd love you to have

  • Demonstrable experience within IT Service Management, IT Service Management, or related IT disciplines
  • Experience working with Public Sector clients and an understanding of frameworks
  • Appetite to learn and take on new challenges
  • Proactive and highly driven
  • Strong communication skills
