About the Role

The Sales Strategy & Planning team allow leaders to lead boldly by ensuring our Sales Strategy is practical, trusted, and felt across the business

We turn strategy into action by prioritising what matters, supporting the right people, and executing at pace. We connect priorities across Softcat, guide and challenge decisions where needed, and ensure strategy is delivered with purpose, clarity, and impact.

 

This is a broad and varied role, that will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a range of skills, behaviours and habits; proactivity, project management skills, creative problem solving, adaptiveness and flexibility, an inquisitive nature and effective relationship management.

 

As Sales Strategy & Planning Coordinator, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Supporting colleagues in the creation of specific strategies for sales and specific departments/teams.
  • Senior stakeholder management.
  • Conducting research to inform decision making through focus groups, surveys etc.
  • Understanding the sentiment and needs of specific sales groups such as individual roles, sales sectors and segments.
  • Collating and analysing data that aligns to sales and strategic projects.

 

We'd love you to have 

  • Previous experience or a keen interest in our customers and sales success
  • Experience of managing projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Commercial acumen
