The Strategic Sourcing Team are responsible for building and maintaining strong and trusted relationships with our
suppliers to enable us to strategically source products to fulfil customer demand. The team will analyse requirements to onboard new suppliers and negotiate commercials to ensure Softcat are receiving favourable pricing and service.

Be part of a team that enables business growth

This fast-paced role will give you an insight to how the IT Supply Chain operates and how supplier and vendor
relationships are key to every part of our business. You will work with a wide variety of contacts both externally and
internally across many different areas of the business giving you a full understanding of the IT reseller channel as well as an insight into Softcat's success as a business.

As Strategic Sourcing Administrator, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Daily and Monthly reporting responsibilities – supporting our range of Analysts, Procurement, and Sales Teams
  • CRM and ERP Tool administration – Enabling the business to make the most of our newly implemented tools and features
  • Portal Administration – Assisting our hundreds of salespeople with access to the tools for them to succeed
  • Financial auditing – Looking at monthly performance by the business at a granular level

 

We'd love you to have

  • Experience or a keenness to progress in a process and admin-driven environment
  • Good understanding on how to use modern web-based software applications
  • Good level knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Keen attention to detail

  • Hybrid working –  3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
