The Asset Intelligence Technical teams' responsibility is to ensure that asset management tooling is successfully deployed, managed and supported technically throughout the duration of the service or project.  In addition, the team manage our customer-hosted platforms and also provide consultancy-based services to implement or upgrade asset management tools on behalf of new and existing customers.

In this role, you'll work with our customers and internal stakeholders to provide technical support for our services, working with various leading asset management vendor products.

As well as providing technical support the role also includes technically leading pre-sales engagements, managing install/deployment projects as well as performing upgrades and managing our hosted ITAM services platforms.

 

As a Technical Consultant -Asset Intelligence Services, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Working with internal stakeholders and customers to triage, investigate, escalate and resolve client support queries and ensuring the customers are kept up to date within the appropriate SLAs – mainly on 2nd/3rd line issues.
  • Contribute to the team's efforts to increase value and drive efficiency.
  • Work with other teams and stakeholders on new service concepts and improvements
  • Onboarding new customers into the service and leading initial design workshop calls
  • Provide remote consultancy for product installations, upgrades and migrations.
  • Occasional onsite consultancy and meetings with Customers or Suppliers.

 

We'd love you to have 

  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar role within an IT Services organisation
  • Good level of understanding of IT Asset Management technology and tooling
  • Technical experience with a SAAS/Software Asset Management tool – Snow/Zluri/Xensam/Atternity
  • Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to communicate at all levels (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Experience with SQL servers and writing queries.
  • Good understanding of stack traces and program error messages.
  • Microsoft (experience in Windows 10, Office 2010/2016, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 & Active Directory)
  • Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Understanding of ITIL framework, with the desire to work towards the certification
  • Self-sufficient and innovative, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
