Do you want to make change happen by joining a team that never stands still?

As a Technical Consultant, you'll join our successful professional services Digital Workspace team, responsible for the design and implementation of a range of AWS public cloud technologies for Softcat's customers.

As Technical Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

• Taking responsibility for AWS driven implementation projects for a wide variety of small, medium and enterprise customers
• designing solutions geared towards AWS, however you'll also have the opportunity to work with other exciting Cloud based technologies
• Providing specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure the continued growth and development of the team
• supporting our presales efforts by advising our sales force, our customers and gathering requirements

What we need from you

• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification
• Demonstrable experience in designing and deploying AWS focused solutions and able to demonstrate the skills of a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• We require self-motivation, with an on-going desire to maintain your knowledge level at the forefront of technology
• Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
• You'll be an approachable and presentable individual, with an enthusiasm and passion for the technology areas you are aligned to
• Aspiration to achieve the AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification along with any other AWS Certification to a professional level

Please note, you'll be put through SC clearance upon hire, so you'll need to possess either an existing SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo the vetting for such clearance.
