Your role

The successful candidate will be key in developing new business opportunities, building relationships within the VMware and Softcat teams, driving the sales strategy, training and marketing requirements and supporting opportunities. You will be proactively working with both the Specialist Teams and the Sales Team to ensure maximum commercial advantage is gained on all VMware products. The position can be based out of our Leeds or Manchester offices with travel required to support all sales teams across the country.

What we need from you

  • The ideal candidate should be a strong influencer, proactive and articulate.
  • They will have first-rate communication and relationship building skills and be an adept organiser.
  • The ability to integrate and work effectively with various teams at Softcat.
  • The candidate will be required to proactively cover all offices where sales are present and attend meetings at VMware offices.
  • Industry experience would be desirable but all training will be provided. 
  • You will be required to travel, and excellent time management is essential.
