Primarily, you will assist the IT PMO Manager with the day to day running of key projects, e.g. facilitating meetings, following up on actions, capturing minutes and risks. This will also entail tracking and monitoring progress against the project and programme plan; as well as identifying issues. Your remit will see you manage the IT Programme Data by working with the team to ensure critical data is well maintained (e.g. time reporting, task completion and effort and cost estimates); managing the schedule and resource dependencies and any conflict between initiatives. Along with running the IT Programme Risk Register, the role will see you pull together IT Programme Presentations and Project Status Reporting for Executive review.

This role is a fixed-term contract for 6-9 months, and can either be full-time or part-time commitment. If part-time, it could be either be a weekly pattern of three days full-time, or five days part-time (equating to 28 hours per week); in which case the salary would be pro-rata. And if full-time across a five day week, then it would paid as an annual salary.

What we need from you

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – strong presentation skills to senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work with data in MS Excel to an intermediate level, e.g. basic charts and pivot tables
