Your Role

As a Microsoft Support Engineer, you’ll be working within our Platform Support Team, providing 2nd/3rd line technical support for Microsoft solutions, predominantly focused on O365 and Azure. You will take ownership of each issue to troubleshoot and fix the problem, and where appropriate, work with the wider team and vendor to ensure the customer receives excellent service by driving each issue through to resolution.

A varied role that will see you providing technical support for all Microsoft CSP customers, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving incidents to their conclusion, ensuring adherence to agreed SLA’s and escalating to the vendor where required.

You will be involved with migrations, as well as address problem tickets assigned to the Microsoft Team, and work on establishing the root cause and implementing a permanent fix.

Opportunities to work with both the Service Desk & Support, and Services Integration teams, on customer and internal projects.

When required, you will attend the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Problem Reviews, to provide your input.

What we need from you

  • Experience working within a similar environment – Managed Services Support Team
  • Windows 2008 R2/2012/2016 (advanced features, e.g. DFSR and AD)
  • Exposure and understanding of Azure
  • Experience supporting Office 365 (O365) including directory sync and ADFS
  • Experience supporting Exchange 2010/2013/O365 Hybrid
  • Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
  • Experience working on Office365/Azure migration projects would be a bonus
