Your role

We are looking for a dedicated Mimecast focussed sales individual to drive and grow our business. New business is in Mimecast’s DNA. The successful candidate will be key in discovering, developing, supporting and helping to close new business opportunities, up-selling to the full Mimecast portfolio, driving internal campaigns, coordinating incentives and building strong and strategic relationships.

This will primarily be focused around building relationships with the Mimecast sales teams, gaining credibility with the Softcat Networking and Security team and utilising the nearly 600 strong Softcat sales force to scale to the opportunity and convert those Softcat customers not buying Mimecast into Mimecast customers as well as helping both organisations win new logos.

What we need from you

  • Previous sales experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of the IT market would be beneficial but full training will be provided
  • A strong influencer and communicator
  • First-rate relationship building skills
  • Adept organiser
  • Can integrate between and work effectively with various teams at Softcat but also possess the confidence and creativity to effectively run their area of the business independently
  • Required to travel – proactively covering all offices
  • Excellent time management due to the amount of travel required in the role
