As a Senior Solutions Sales Specialist within our ITAM teamyou will primarily be working to identify and qualify Asset Intelligence/ITAM opportunities within new customers, driving new business and maximising gross profit, aswell as growing our existing customer base. You will work proactively and collaboratively with sales teams to develop an overall territory and account management plan to maximize opportunities and generate ITAM/ITSM business with new and existing customers. You will also be liaising with Softcat’s ITAM/ITSM vendors, building and developing relationships with them and negotiating deals alongside them.
Support & training will be provided through the technical and licencing expertise of Softcat’s ITAM & Asset Intelligence team.
What we need from you
- Demonstrable experience selling complex IT solutionsis essential
- Basic knowledge of software licensing models & ITIL best practice
- Be able to demonstrate independence working to objectives
- You will need to understand how customers consume IT and have an understanding of the various products & services available to help them manage their estates.
- Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with peers and clients
- Solid problem-solving and consultative skills
