Graeme Watt

Chair

Graeme joined Softcat in April 2018. With over 30 years of experience in the IT distribution industry, Graeme was most recently Senior Vice President EMEA, Advanced and Specialist Solutions, Tech Data Corporation ("Tech Data"), a position he held from March 2017. He was promoted to that role when Avnet's Technology Solutions business was acquired by Tech Data in early 2017. Prior to that, he was President for Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA for almost seven years and a member of Avnet's Global Executive Committee. He previously spent six years at Bell Micro (as President of Global Distribution) and his earlier career included roles at Tech Data (President EMEA) and Computer 2000 (Managing Director UK & Ireland). Graeme is a Chartered Accountant and graduated from Edinburgh University having read Physiology.

Graham Charlton

Executive Director and Chief Executive

Graham joined Softcat in January 2015. Previously, he spent four years as Finance Director at comparethemarket.com (a trading name of BISL Limited). Prior to that, Graham spent one year as Finance Director at See Tickets (the trading name of See Group Limited) and over five years in various roles, including Group Financial Accountant, Finance Manager and Finance Director, Decision Analytics, at Experian Ltd. Graham is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with Andersen. Graham earned an MA in Natural Sciences from King's College, Cambridge University.

Vin Murria OBE

Independent Non-executive Director

Vin joined Softcat in November 2015 and from March 2019 has held the position of Designated Non-Executive Director for Workforce Engagement. Vin is also a Non-executive Director at Main Market companies Bunzl plc and MC Saatchi plc, in addition to AIM listed company Summerway Capital plc. Previously named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Grant Thornton Quoted Company Awards and Woman of The Year at the Cisco Everywoman Technology Awards, Vin is a successful entrepreneur with a strong background in technology-based businesses. Prior to joining us, Vin spent seven years as the founder and Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Computer Software plc, and five years as Chief Executive Officer of Computer Software Group plc.

Robyn Perriss

Independent Non-executive Director

Robyn joined Softcat in July 2019, and has occupied the role of Chair of the Audit Committee since her appointment. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Next Fifteen Communications Group PLC and Dr. Martens PLC. Robyn was Finance Director at Rightmove plc, the UK’s largest property portal until 30 June 2019, prior to this she held senior roles as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. Before joining Rightmove, Robyn was Group Financial Controller at the online media business Auto Trader. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa with KPMG and has worked in both audit and transaction services

Lynne Weedall

Senior Independent Director

Lynne joined Softcat in May 2022 as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Lynne is also a Non-executive Director at Dr. Martens plc, Treatt plc and Greggs plc. She is Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Dr. Martens plc and the Senior Independent Director at Dr. Martens plc and Treatt plc. Lynne has previous significant experience in senior human resources and strategy roles at household-name companies. This includes Group Human Resources & Strategy Director at Carphone Warehouse and Group People & Culture Director at Selfridges Group. Lynne was previously a Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee Chair at Greene King and at William Hill.

Graham Charlton

I joined Softcat in January 2015 attracted by a company that clearly had the things I was looking for in spades: terrific growth, fantastic future prospects, and great people. The culture at Softcat has to be experienced to be fully understood, and the virtuous circle of motivation and outstanding results it creates, genuinely feels unique. I’ve been fortunate to work for some great companies in the past, spending time in the FTSE100 with Experian and also herding meerkats at privately-owned comparethemarket.com, but moving to Softcat was the easiest and continues to be the most exhilarating decision I’ve made in my career.

Richard Wyn Griffith

Chief Commercial Officer

I joined Softcat in 2002 as a graduate Sales Executive. I did not know what to expect from a career in the IT industry other than I knew it would be fast-paced. Without doubt, I found it to be exactly that and from the start, found a home in Softcat that feels as special today as it did all those years ago. The company has grown hugely since then, but we have managed to keep it a fantastic place to work and I am proud to be part of an ever-expanding team that is committed to making sure that continues on. In my eighteen years at Softcat, I have enjoyed a number of roles from early days of Team Leader to Sales Manager, where I had the privilege of opening our London office and then heading up the evolution of our Solutions Sales and Marketing strategies. In 2020, I was incredibly excited and privileged to take the helm as Softcat's Managing Director and look forward to building out even more opportunities in the next chapter of our business journey.

Rebecca Monk

Chief People Officer

I joined Softcat in August 2017 as the HR Director after thirteen years in various HR and recruitment leadership roles in the telecommunications industry for Three and as HR Director at Universal Pictures. I loved the Softcat culture from the start and continue to be overwhelmed by the unique mix of openness and desire to work together, not just as effective teams but as a family who looks out for each other while encouraging personal growth and potential. Softcat is, without doubt, the most unique place I could ever hope to work in.

Debra Coady

Legal Director and General Counsel

I joined Softcat in the summer of 2018 to head up our Legal team. From the start, I have been passionate about ensuring that my team is not seen as a sales prevention function but instead enables opportunity through the provision of pragmatic legal support across the business. Although I have spent most of my legal career working in or around IT, what sets Softcat apart is our culture that puts people at the centre of everything we do. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to work in such a vibrant, challenging, supportive environment and to have the opportunity to contribute to keeping that culture fresh and relevant to the way we work with our customers and partners.

Rob Parkinson

CIO

I joined Softcat in January 2019 as CIO. I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, with 10 of those working for Arrow ECS. At Arrow I was the UK&I CIO for 6 years before moving into EMEA wide senior IT leadership roles. At Softcat along with responsibility for the company IT systems, applications, infrastructure, networking and security amongst others I am also responsible for leading our Business Transformation programme.

Anthony Cowen

Chief Revenue Officer

I had worked in the IT industry for ten years before joining Softcat in May 2011 as Public Sector Sales Manager, based in our Manchester office. I have always taken great pleasure in building highly successful sales teams. Softcat offered me the platform to do just that. From working with a team of over 100 people servicing the Government, Healthcare and Education sectors to my current role of Sales Director responsible for over 850 sales individuals, it is a real privilege to work in such a fantastic, unique and fun company with both inexhaustible energy and commitment to delivering nothing less than the best for both our customers and partners.

Alastair Wynn

Business Development Director

I joined Softcat in 2005 on the graduate sales program. A career in IT sales seemed the perfect mix for skills learned at uni, following a degree in business and IT (and a one-year placement with IBM). I spent nine years in sales as an Account Manager, Team Leader, Sales Manager, before moving into, my first senior management position in 2014. I am ultimately responsible for our supply chain and internal operations and I've enjoyed a challenging and rewarding time with Softcat which has recently changed to operations.

Mark Forster

Services Director

I joined Softcat in May 2022 as Services Director. Having previously worked at a Channel IT Service Provider for 16 years I developed a great insight into how some of the biggest (and smaller!) resellers grew their Services offering and developed their Services strategy. Working in the IT industry for over 20 years I developed passion for Service Delivery and Customer Experience mainly due to the people element which can be such a key factor to success. When the opportunity arose to work with Softcat it was impossible to resist as the dedication and unparalleled focus on culture and its people was something I was excited to be part of. I continue to feel exceptionally lucky to be part of this organisation and such an innovative and dynamic Services function.

Anna Pulisciano

Operations Director

I returned to the IT industry in Feb 2023, joining Softcat as Operations Director, having worked for Halma Plc. in the Oil and Gas industry for the previous 6 years. Before that, I headed up the manufacturing and reseller arm of RM Plc., an Education specific ICT provider across 15 years focussed on generating opportunities to grow the business and our partner and our customer relationships. I am very happy to be returning to the fast-paced world of IT and feel especially privileged to be part of the truly special Softcat family with such a unique culture which delivers amazing results. Being passionate about customer excellence, I am excited to be working with an organisation that delivers exceptional customer experience through their unparalleled investment, trust, and belief in their people.

Katy Mecklenburg

Chief Financial Officer

Katy joined Softcat in June 2023. Previously, she was Interim Chief Finance Officer at ASOS plc. Prior to that, she spent three years as Group Controller at Inchcape plc. She has held various other positions across a range of industries and blue-chip firms. Katy was Head of Finance at Amazon, Finance Director at Serco and she spent over a decade at Procter and Gamble where she held series of senior finance roles. Katy is a Chartered Management Accountant. She earned a BSc in Pharmacology and a PhD in Respiratory Medicine, both from Edinburgh University.
